Irrigation Water
Water is scheduled to be delivered to us some time April 19th. We anticipate starting up the pumps and pressurizing the system on April 20th. Please be sure to follow the watering schedule of: |
|
• Even ending addresses water Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Odd ending addresses water Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
• Sunday is a makeup day for the common areas. |
|
|
|
This schedule should allow the system to distribute water evenly throughout the community so pressure is maintained. If everyone waters at the same time/day, it creates too much demand on the system and simply drains the water available more rapidly than it can be replaced causing the pumps to loose pressure and eventually shut down. Once pressure is lost, no one can water. This schedule does not impact hand watering plants in pots or even garden beds that need more frequent small drinks. Everyone is on the honor system in watering on their days. If you see someone not following the schedule, please remind them in a courteous manner. We encourage good watering habits, and hope everyone will be mindful of what they are watering and when they are watering. |

Easter Egg Hunt
Thank you Shawna Green and everyone who helped and attended the Easter Egg Hunt. It was a hit, and was so nice to see everyone! We have such a great neighborhood! |

Fine Policy
The community has grown and we’ve come to the point in time where just sending letters for violations doesn’t always work, so we are looking to adopt a fine policy. This policy follows Idaho State Legislative requirements, and also gives the Association another tool in helping to remedy violations. It does not take away our ability to work with residents in situations. We’ve put together a draft and are now seeking input from the community. Please email any comments or suggestions to hoa@brightoncorp.com. We will take input until May 31st, and then the Advisory Committee will re-review and offer comments before adopted.
Golf Carts
There’s been a report of a golf cart riding around in the evening without lights. Please be cautious with these types of vehicles, as no one wants to see an accident. These kinds of recreational vehicles as well as dirt bikes and go carts are tons of fun, but they should definitely not be enjoyed in the common areas or parks. Please follow the rules of the road and keep these items out of the green spaces where kids play and pedestrians walk. |
