New Board of Directors
Thank you everyone who participated in the annual meeting by returning your proxy and vote. We appreciate all those that volunteered and want to congratulate the new Board of Directors: Shawna Green, Nancy Pace, Bob Rock, Wade Ramsey, and Steve Elliott! If you were unable to make the meeting minutes are posted online.
4th of July
Join your friends and neighbors in celebrating 4th of July here in the neighborhood. Shenanigans will run from 5:30-8:30pm at Keith Bird Park. The bike parade will begin promptly at 4:15PM. We encourage everyone to decorate and make it as patriotic as you can. This year, it will be led by a vehicle. We will begin and end at Keith Bird Park. Afterwards, otter pops will be given out. There will be a watermelon eating contest, and if interested you can sign up to participate at: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10c0d4babab2aa0fdc70-watermelon. The Association will be grilling up hot dogs, and we’re asking residents to bring side dishes. You can sign up to bring something to share at: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10c0d4babab2aa0fdc70-bainbridges.
We look forward to seeing you all on the 4th, and wish everyone a safe and fun day. Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. We also ask that neighbors be courteous to each other and surrounding pets who may not enjoy the holiday as much. If you choose to use legal fireworks, here are some great tips from the National Safety Council.
Speeding
With kids out of school, and the days getting longer and warmer, please take a second to slow down in our community. There are a lot of children, families, and pedestrians who are playing, walking, running, and riding around, please slow down and drive with caution.
National Night Out
We’ll be hosting a community National Night Out. This is an annual community-building campaign to promote partnerships with our City and local agencies. The Board of Directors will also be present meet and get to know the community. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 2nd, for this fun event.
Recreational Vehicles
It’s the time of year when people are getting out and enjoying the outdoors or traveling, and RVs, campers, boats, etc. are starting to appear. We want to remind you that we understand there’s a need to bring these home for loading and unloading, however, please respect the rules by making sure you remove them from view within the 24-hour time limit. We greatly appreciate your help in maintaining our community!
